The BHEC Holocaust Studies Library & Archives support the BHEC in its mission by facilitating education and understanding about the Holocaust. This diverse collection provides opportunity for research, teaching, and personal enrichment.
The Library, containing over 3,000 volumes devoted to the history of antisemitism, World War II, and the Holocaust, is one of the largest of its kind in the Southeast.
The Archives, currently under development, contain historical artifacts from World War II as well as Alabama Holocaust survivor photos, documents, and testimonies.
The Library is open to visitors by appointment, Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
